I call this my "wannabe Free People" look. I like to do that often; design outfits based on the clothes I see in catalogs but could never afford. The dress was one of those things you see and fall in love with instantly. It has all sorts of fun little details (you know I love my details!) and is the most lovely shade of blue! Plus there's the assymetrical lace at the bottom- for a girl who's obsessed with symmetry, it's something that is a little out of my comfort zone. I do wish it didn't hang so low in the front but the bandeau was a nice compromise. Add a sparkly ring and necklace, wedge sandals, and you're ready to go!

Lovely look. You're so right; it totally reminds me of every Free People catalog I have seen. I love the beautiful ruffles at the bottom, and the pretty detailing on the neckline.
